Syms Strategic Group is seeking a Software Testing Principal with MUMPS expertise to lead testing across legacy healthcare systems. This remote, U.S.-based role focuses on QA for mission-critical applications and collaboration with cross-functional teams in the VA department.

You will design test plans, execute both manual and automated tests, and ensure data integrity while validating HL7, FHIR, and EDIs standards. A strong SDLC background and mentoring skills are essential.

Formación

• Experience in healthcare, government, or other highly regulated environments.
• Experience testing enterprise applications supporting clinical, benefits, or healthcare operations.
• Experience supporting legacy applications and long-lived mission-critical systems.
• Experience testing applications developed using MUMPS and/or InterSystems Cache.
• Experience validating healthcare business workflows and system functionality.
• Experience developing detailed test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, and test cases.
• Experience performing functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• An understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Experience validating database updates and data integrity.
• An ability to analyze system logs, application errors, and test results to identify root causes.

Responsabilidades

• Support testing and QA activities for mission-critical healthcare applications in MUMPS/InterSystems Cache.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, scripts and procedures.
• Validate software enhancements, maintenance releases, defect corrections and upgrades.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, UAT, and end-to-end testing.
• Verify data integrity across legacy healthcare apps and interfaces.
• Test HL7, FHIR, EDIs and related healthcare standards.
• Participate in Beta/IOC testing and document results.
• Lead testing efforts and mentor junior testers.
