Job summary

Pearl is seeking an Operations Project Associate to design scalable backend systems that support quality mental health care at scale. This role focuses on internal operations, credentialing across states, and automation to enable rapid growth without compromising care.

You will build workflows for patient intake, payer enrollment, and compliance, while creating dashboards to monitor performance and accountability. Fully remote with US-timezone overlap.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in healthcare operations with 3+ years in US-based systems.
• Experience with credentialing, payer enrollment, and insurance verification workflows.
• Proven track record designing workflow optimization, process improvement, or QA initiatives in healthcare or regulated environments.
• Experience building systems or dashboards to track operational metrics and KPIs in a regulated setting.
• Autonomous operator on backend projects with minimal supervision; capable of independent problem solving.
• Automation mindset with concrete examples of reducing manual work.
• English at C1+ CEFR level for clear communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize patient intake workflows across documentation, verification, and financial obligations.
• Build credentialing systems across multiple states and payers.
• Create QA frameworks to ensure quality care and identify discrepancies.
• Develop KPI dashboards tracking licensing, credentials, and payer enrollment in real time.
• Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual work across operations.
• Streamline scheduling, client communications, and service retention using existing tools.
• Ensure compliance and administrative requirements are met before clinicians see patients.
