Job summary

Agfa HealthCare is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead Healthcare IT and Imaging projects from a remote North America base, delivering on-time and on-budget while coordinating internal teams, third‑party vendors, and customer resources.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of IT project management experience, knowledge of Radiology PACS/workflow, strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision; travel to client sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Healthcare or related field.
• 5+ years IT project management or healthcare IT project management experience.
• CAPM consideration alongside project management experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to lead teams.
• Knowledge of Radiology PACS and Radiology workflow.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and virtual team tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, deliver, implement, and close Healthcare IT projects on schedule and within budget.
• Schedule resources and coordinate internal/third‑party/vendor efforts to meet project plan.
• Define objectives and oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate expectations clearly and timely.
• Identify and resolve project issues proactively; manage dependencies and critical path.
• Ensure quality documents and acceptance milestones are met.
