Job summary

Penn State Beaver Office of Continuing Education is seeking qualified individuals to remotely teach non-credit healthcare classes online. Courses are delivered live via Zoom, typically during evenings or weekends, providing flexibility for instructors and adult learners.

We are recruiting to teach Nursing Home Administration, Personal Care Home Administration, Assisted Living Administration, and related healthcare topics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree or higher preferred.
• Healthcare industry experience or licensure (NHA, PCHA) strongly preferred.
• Prior experience teaching or training adult learners, especially in a virtual setting, preferred.
• Must be comfortable using Zoom and online teaching tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, organize, and deliver course content via Zoom
• Engage adult learners through interactive virtual instruction
• Adapt course materials to diverse adult learning styles
• Facilitate discussions, group activities, and case study reviews
• Provide timely responses to student questions and feedback
• Maintain clear communication with Continuing Education staff
• Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
