Job summary

Availity is a leading healthcare engagement platform seeking an EDI Implementation Analyst II to join our remote-first team. The role focuses on moderate to complex healthcare EDI implementations, working closely with payers, vendors, and internal teams to deliver secure, compliant integration solutions.

You will plan, test, document, and oversee multiple implementations using Availity tools (JIRA, Confluence, Salesforce), while mentoring others and ensuring timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years in technology (information exchange) or healthcare environment.
• 4+ years of experience managing simple to moderately complex implementations.
• Knowledge of HIPAA implementation guides for claim transactions.
• Knowledge of HIPAA mandated ANSI transaction formats.
• Working knowledge of X12 transactions (837P, 837I, 835, 270/271, 276/277, 278, CCR/CCD).
• Ability to create and execute test plans.
• Ability to create training resources and reference materials.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present executive summaries.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex to moderately complex implementations with timelines and deliverables.
• Coordinate with payers, vendors, and partners to meet integration objectives.
• Develop implementation plans and required tickets for execution.
• Perform pre-production testing and validate test plans.
• Maintain payer routing and partner configurations.
• Provide technical guidance to external stakeholders and support teams.
• Mentor junior analysts to ensure timely project completion.
