Job summary

Doximity is seeking a Data Scientist who will work with cross-functional teams to uncover insights and drive data-informed healthcare decisions. You will analyze large datasets, build metrics, and deliver actionable recommendations for product and clients.

You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and fellow data scientists to shape data projects from ingestion to insight, and communicate findings through compelling visuals and storytelling.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional experience as a data analyst or data scientist.
• Strong SQL skills for complex queries across many tables.
• Proficient using Python data analysis libraries (Pandas, NumPy) and basic Python OOP concepts.
• Experience with distributed data processing (e.g., Spark).
• Excellent data visualization and storytelling to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Solid grounding in statistics, exploratory data analysis techniques, and probability theory.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to define and lead data projects end-to-end.
• Identify and classify behavioral patterns of medical professionals on our platform.
• Create product and client-facing analytics and dashboards to inform decisions.
• Inform data team strategy by partnering with product leaders and managers.
