Job summary

FullStack is hiring a Healthcare Data and Analytics Specialist to join our team. You will work with clients in two modes: team augmentation or design & build on a product team.

Required are 5+ years in software engineering, data analysis, or data operations, strong English, and a four-year degree. Deep healthcare data experience, SQL expertise, and HIPAA knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering, data analysis, or data operations experience.
• Advanced English is required.
• Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
• Deep experience with healthcare data including medical/pharmacy claims, eligibility, enrollment, or payer/TPA/PBM benefits.
• Expertise in SQL to join complex datasets and construct maintainable analytical logic.
• Background in healthcare data validation, reconciliation, data quality monitoring, and data operations workflows.
• Understanding of healthcare claims structures, terminology, utilization, and financial metrics.
• Experience creating recurring analytical reporting, data dictionaries, and metrics definitions for clients or executives.
• Ability to investigate data issues and trace discrepancies through data ecosystems.
• Comfort with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and file transmissions (SFTP, flat files, APIs).
• Knowledge of HIPAA/PHI regulations and healthcare data security controls.
• Ability to work through difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
• Experience delivering CI/CD for applications.
• Attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
• Experience on Agile/Scrum teams.
• Experience on large, complex systems.
• Ability to take extreme ownership over work.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to augment teams or design & build analytics solutions.
• Develop recurring analytical reports, data dictionaries, and metric definitions for executives.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and secure handling of PHI in data workflows.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to software delivery.
