UTMB Health in Galveston, TX seeks a Healthcare Data Analyst in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology to develop, interpret, and monitor moderate-to-complex health data analyses, projections, and reports used by system leadership for decision-making.

You will design reporting solutions from multiple databases, support data quality and analytics projects, and prepare presentations for senior leaders. Remote options may apply for this position.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in informatics, information technology, business, data science, or a related field.
• Three (3) years of directly-related work experience.
• Master's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) preferred.
• Experience in analysis, quality reporting, or decision support in healthcare.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with health system stakeholders to design data models and reporting for quality, safety, satisfaction, and operations.
• Develop and implement patient experience, clinical, quality, and operational reports and scorecards.
• Prepare data from multiple sources to create actionable reports for peers and leadership.
• Provide technical support to analysts, managers, clinicians, and executives using health data.
• Assist in ETL processes to load data from internal and external sources.
• Present analyses to senior management (e.g., DRG, patient experience, physician profiling).
• Stay current with analytics tools and standards; ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
