Job summary

Index Analytics LLC, a Baltimore-based health analytics contractor, seeks an Experienced Data Analyst to deliver data analysis, reporting, and analytics solutions in a federal healthcare setting.

You will work with stakeholders to collect and interpret data from multiple sources, develop ad hoc reports and dashboards, and translate findings into actionable recommendations using SQL, Python, Excel, and BI tools in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience; 4 years in lieu of degree accepted.
• Experience performing data collection, data analysis, business analysis, reporting, and interpretation of data from multiple sources.
• Experience supporting requirements gathering, stakeholder discussions, and translating business needs into data analysis or reporting outputs.
• Experience developing ad hoc reports, dashboards, data summaries, recommendations, and decision-support materials.
• Experience using SQL, Excel, Python, BI/reporting tools or similar analytical tools.
• Experience with GitHub preferred.
• Strong communication and Agile collaboration experience across analytics, applications, and platform teams.
• Prior CMS/government agency experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to identify analytical requirements and translate them into data analysis and reporting.
• Collect, validate, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources including client databases and web-based sources.
• Use SQL, Python, Excel, BI tools to develop reports, dashboards, and analytic outputs.
• Interpret data and present findings, recommendations, and decision-support materials.
• Research best practices and support development of analytics solutions and process improvements.
• Participate in requirements sessions, training, and knowledge transfer with stakeholders and team.
• Collaborate with Agile delivery teams to document requirements, track tasks, and iterate on analytics products.
