Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a full-time remote Customer Service Representative to support members and patients with eligibility, benefits, and billing inquiries. The role requires a high school diploma, at least two years in customer service, data entry, and scheduling, with Epic Beaker familiarity preferred; on-site travel is possible if connectivity issues arise.

Standard hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of customer service experience is required.
• Data entry experience is required.
• Scheduling experience is required.
• Familiar with Epic Beaker is preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume call center is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls to address issues related to member eligibility, plan benefits, and claim payment.
• Assist with patient services such as updating billing information, arranging payment plans, and scheduling.
• Provide timely resolutions and quality customer service.
