Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects, focusing on healthcare and tenant improvements. You will produce quantity takeoffs, bid packages, and cost analyses while ensuring OSHPD/HCAI compliance.

The role supports preconstruction and bidding activities and collaborates with PMs, engineers and clients. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of estimating experience on commercial projects, strong proficiency with

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of construction estimating experience.
OSHPD submission process and documentation familiarity.
Experience with HCAI requirements for healthcare projects.
Proficiency with estimating software and digital takeoff tools; Excel.
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed, line-item cost estimates and quantity takeoffs for commercial projects (healthcare facilities and TI).
Develop bid packages, scope breakdowns and subcontractor documents; evaluate bids.
Ensure estimates comply with OSHPD/HCAI regulations; submit regulatory docs.
Collaborate with PMs, engineers and subs to clarify scope and incorporate changes.
Perform value engineering and constructability reviews for cost savings and schedule optimization.
Maintain estimating databases and unit price libraries; reflect market conditions.
Monitor market trends and communicate impacts to leadership.
Support preconstruction meetings and assist in contract/change negotiations.
