Job summary

Medix is seeking a Claims Specialist to support clinical review and Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) programs. You will coordinate healthcare appeal and dispute cases from intake through completion, communicating with plans, providers, patients, clinicians, and internal teams while monitoring status and deadlines.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and comfortable working independently to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, business, management, or digital studies.
• 2 Years of Healthcare Administration, Claims, or comparable experience.
• Knowledge and experience with collaborative project management software, electronic documents, and design.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate healthcare appeal and dispute cases from intake through completion.
• Communicate with plans, providers, patients, clinicians, and internal teams; monitor case status and deadlines.
• Ensure cases move through review processes accurately and on time.
