Job summary

Medix is seeking a Claims Specialist to support clinical review and Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) programs. You will coordinate healthcare appeal and dispute cases from intake through completion, communicating with plans, providers, patients, clinicians, and internal teams while monitoring status and deadlines.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and comfortable working independently to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, business, management, or digital studies.
• 2 Years of Healthcare Administration, Claims, or comparable experience.
• Knowledge and experience with collaborative project management software, electronic documents, and design.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:30 PM 40 hours/week

Pay Rate:

• Remote: $22-$25/hour

Position Overview

Claims Specialists support clinical review and Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) programs.

The Claims Specialist will coordinate healthcare appeal and dispute cases from initial intake through completion. This includes communicating with healthcare plans, providers, patients, clinicians, and internal teams; monitoring case status; reviewing documentation; tracking deadlines; and ensuring cases move through the appropriate review process accurately and on time.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and able to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently.
