Healthcare Call Center Associate(Work from Home)

As a member of the Customer Experience team, you assist customers with questions, inquiries, and issues related to their prescription coverage. You manage a steady volume of incoming calls from customers while navigating multiple systems.
Our call center associates are members of a supportive team. Your excellent customer service and communication skills will help us create positive experiences for our customers and clients. Your punctuality and dependability are key to our clients’ success.
A few of the questions you may receive as a healthcare call center associate are the following:
“Can you assist me in what the status of my current refill is?"
“Did my prescription run out?”
Conduent has plenty of growth opportunities within the healthcare team.
Pay rate is $15 per hour.
Virtual training is 6 weeks.
Successfully complete a mandatory paid training program with 100% attendance.
Hours Of Operation
Monday – Friday 8:00am – 11:00pm EST
Saturday 8:00am – 6:30pm EST
Medical, dental and vision benefits available on 1 st day of employment.
Non-exempt: Paid time off will start to accrue after 180 days of employment (about 6 months).
Successfully navigate 27 systems and average 20 - 30 calls per day.
Responsibilities For Remote Call Center Representative
Manage a steady volume of incoming calls regarding benefits from members, providers, and employer groups. Explain and clarify plans’ policies and procedures.
Actively listen to understand customers’ needs and answer their questions to include callbacks and follow up calls as needed.
Strive to answer the un-asked question(s) as we work for a one call resolution. Take all necessary action to resolve the members issue by answering their questions.
Navigate the Members’ plan benefits, review Client's policy and procedures, while using resources provided by the Client to comply with regulatory guidelines.
CSR is required to utilize multiple Client systems to provide accuracy of information.
Investigate verbal complaints concerning billing, claims or service rendered. Escalate complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation.
Maintain current knowledge of Member Services policies and procedures.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Requirement For Remote Call Center Representative
Successfully complete customer service assessment & typing test.
High school diploma, GED, or college degree
6 months of customer service experience.
At least 1 year of Call Center experience preferred, but not required.
1 year of face-to-face customer service experience preferred, but not required.
Knowledge of and prior experience in Dental, Medical or Managed Care industry is preferred.
Must possess the following characteristics: self-motivation, resourceful, detail-oriented, sense of accountability and must be a team player.
Must possess strong skills in the following areas: organizational, time management, written and verbal communication, analytical, and problem solving.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
Strong communication skills over the phone.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Successful completion of background check is required for this position.

We provide all equipment. (Computer, Monitor, Mouse, Keyboard, Headset, Ethernet Cord, Power Cables)
You must have a home internet connection of 25 Download and 10 Upload Speed (you may do a quick check through https://fiber.google.com/speedtest/
Must be able to hardwire your work computer directly to your home modem via ethernet. Ensure the available connection meets the minimum bandwidth requirements to perform your job function. Satellite internet and wireless internet are not acceptable.
Must have a distraction free and secure work environment. (Workspace must be clutter free, free of distraction, no one is allowed in workspace during working hours, no writing utensils, or unauthorized electronics in the work area).

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated salary range for this role is $15.00/hour.
