Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking a skilled purchasing professional to manage direct and indirect sourcing for the Supply Chain Center in Utah. You will optimize price, quality, and delivery while collaborating with caregivers and suppliers.

The role covers contract navigation, requisition validation, and PO generation, handling urgent orders, and working with category managers to improve cost, quality, and supply continuity; standard hours are 40 per week, with on-call rotations.

Formación

• Experience with purchase orders: verify, approve, and issue PO documents.
• Knowledge of contracts, formulary, policy, and compliance.
• Ability to manage moderate to high dollar/risk purchases and supply continuity.

Responsabilidades

• Works with service lines, suppliers and categories to provide purchasing service and resolve procure-to-pay issues.
• Lead item acquisitions using contracts, formulary, and policy knowledge to meet goals.
• Verify requisitions for accuracy and generate Purchase Orders; manage urgent orders.
• Collaborate with category managers to identify cost, quality, and supply continuity improvements.
• Maintain proactive supply risk management and substitutes to prevent disruption.
• Review and maintain reports to minimize disruptions and ensure on-time payments and KPIs.
