The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and 3–5 years of healthcare financial supervisory experience, with strong Excel skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
• Three to five years of direct healthcare financial supervisory experience.
• Working experience in a Medical Office Practice setting in billing and collection.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Math/Accounting skills, understanding of payment application processes.
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate accurately and concisely.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned team(s).
• Understand health care billing from data entry through payment resolution.
• Perform duties in a timely manner as required by clients and company.
• Mentor, motivate, train, and coach staff; set clear expectations; monitor performance.
• Enforce QA billing objectives, measure results, and improve methods.
• Refer operational improvements to management for workflow optimization.
• Handle escalated client issues and special projects as needed.
• Conduct monthly team meetings to monitor team and client success.
• Provide yearly staff reviews and participate in educational activities.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service to clients and patients.
