Job summary

Azalea Health in Atlanta, GA is seeking a remote Team Supervisor to oversee, train and mentor staff while ensuring productivity and quality in the billing department. You will supervise teams, monitor data entry through payment resolution, provide feedback to management, enforce QA standards, and support continuous revenue cycle growth.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Math/Accounting skills; understanding of payment application processes.
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and clear communication.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Must be able to sit/move for extended periods and lift 25 lbs.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; 3–5 years healthcare financial supervisory experience.
• Experience in billing and collection in a medical office setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned team(s).
• Oversee health care billing from data entry to payment resolution.
• Mentor, motivate, train, and coach staff; set clear expectations.
• Enforce QA billing objectives and improve methods.
• Identify operational improvements and refer issues to leadership.
• Handle escalated client issues and special projects as needed.
• Conduct monthly team meetings and provide yearly staff reviews.
• Provide courteous customer service and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
