State Collection Service is seeking Remote Health Care Customer Service Representatives to join our fast-growing team. You will handle inbound and outbound calls in a high-tech environment, resolving general questions regarding insurance, financial assistance, and processing payments.

This role is challenging but rewarding, fast-paced, and in a team environment. Remote role with US-based applicants; evening and Saturday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a Call Center or Customer Service role
• Knowledge of medical terminology, patient billing, and healthcare insurance preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Excellent organizational skills with multi-tasking ability
• Flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays as required
• Bilingual candidates provide additional support for bilingual calls

Responsibilities

• Make and answer calls to resolve billing and payment issues for clients
• Respond to information requests from patients or account holders professionally
• Pursue payment arrangements on behalf of clients
• Follow client-specific policies and protocols in duties
• Investigate and respond to client inquiries as needed
• Enter and monitor payment arrangements and schedules
• Adhere to FDCPA, FCRA, HIPAA and applicable laws
