Job summary

State Collection Service is seeking Remote Bilingual Healthcare Customer Service Representatives to handle inbound and outbound calls in a high-tech environment, resolving questions about insurance, financial assistance, and payments.

As a Healthcare CSR, you will work in shifts from home, with a team-based environment and essential internet/camera requirements. Bilingual candidates will provide extra support for bilingual calls.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in a Call Center or Customer Service role with daily public contact.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, patient billing, healthcare insurance or administration preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organizational skills; multitasking capabilities.
• Flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays as needed.
• Ability to work well in a team-based setting.
• Bilingual candidates provide additional support for bilingual calls.

Responsibilities

• Make and answer calls in the client’s name to resolve billing and payment issues using established queues.
• Respond to information requests from patients and account holders in a professional, thorough manner.
• Pursue payment or payment arrangements on behalf of the client as appropriate.
• Follow client protocols and policies in daily duties.
• Investigate and respond to client inquiries as needed.
• Enter and monitor payment arrangements.
