Job summary

Ochsner Health is seeking a data specialist to manage the full BI cycle, translating business needs into data requirements and building reports and dashboards. You will collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure data accuracy, model data, and deploy BI components in accordance with standards and best practices.

This remote role includes occasional travel and requires a Bachelor's in a relevant field and at least one year of SQL, data analysis, and healthcare analytics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, MIS, business or related field.
• 1 year of SQL, data analysis, profiling, and reporting in BI.
• 1 year of healthcare analytics experience.
• Preferred: experience with Tableau or Oracle BI EE and Crystal Reports.
• Enterprise data modeling and Snowflake experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop logical data models and present solutions in BI environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand objectives and build analytic solutions.
• Maintain documentation and data processes.
• Manage BI data and monitor systems.
• Support BI deployments and respond to production issues.
