Job summary

UW Health is seeking an Authorization Representative in Middleton, WI. This full-time, 1.0 FTE role starts with onsite training at 7974 UW Health Ct. Training lasts up to 8 weeks, 7:30–4, Monday–Friday.

After training, the position shifts to a primarily remote schedule, typically Monday–Friday, 8:30–5, with hours subject to departmental needs. The role focuses on obtaining prior authorizations for inpatient and outpatient services, delivering excellent customer service, and applying strong

Qualifications

• Obtain prior authorization from payers for inpatient and outpatient services.
• Demonstrate skilled communication and troubleshooting techniques as well as excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD coding and payer regulations is highly desired.

Responsibilities
