Job summary

Tenet Healthcare (Conifer Health division) offers a paid internship in the healthcare analytics space. The program is full-time, remote, and lasts six months, with mentorship and exposure to real-world corporate development projects.

Interns will work on data accuracy, reporting enhancements, and automation opportunities, leveraging Excel and related tools. Ideal candidates are pursuing an undergrad degree in healthcare management, business, or finance with strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in healthcare management, business administration, accounting, finance, or human resources.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher; sophomore, junior, or senior level preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and reporting structure.
• Intermediate proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
• SharePoint administration and support.
• Organized, able to manage multiple tasks and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Accurately update and maintain Excel-based reports, ensuring data integrity and consistency across metrics.
• Trace, audit, and troubleshoot formulas to ensure correct calculations and proper linkage across worksheets.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for automation and support basic workflow improvements within reporting processes.
• Complete assigned projects within the internship timeline, delivering high-quality outputs.
• Support day-to-day initiatives and special projects with professionalism and accuracy.
• Conduct research on healthcare trends relevant to the business function.
• Attend and contribute to team meetings.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
