Job summary

Texas Oncology in Dallas, TX is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to join the Analytics team. This remote internship requires residing in Texas and aims to support collecting, cleansing, and analyzing healthcare data to inform decisions.

You will help build reports and dashboards using SQL, Excel, Power BI or Tableau, with mentorship from senior analysts. Eligible students graduating Dec 2027–May 2028 in related fields are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing bachelor's or master's in a data-related field; graduation Dec 2027–May 2028.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and data analysis concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with collecting, validating, and organizing healthcare data from internal systems.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to support decision-making.
• Perform data cleansing and quality assurance to ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with analysts to translate business requirements into analytics solutions.
• Document data definitions and processes; support ad hoc projects.
