Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Administrative Internship for graduate students pursuing an accredited Healthcare Administration degree. The intern may be assigned to various site and system Administration departments, or Operations through Advocate Health.

The intern will have access to a wide variety of system areas to obtain firsthand knowledge, operational, and strategy experience. The intern is responsible for seeking out specific studies and projects across the system, supporting business

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in a related field with junior or senior standing.
• GPA of at least 2.5 and strong communication skills.
• Proficient with Excel and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing a diverse portfolio of healthcare projects and contribute to work products.
• Collaborate with physicians, administrative colleagues and staff across Advocate Health.
• Support planning processes, data collection and presentation materials.
• Assist in developing programs, processes, or applications and reporting progress.
• Participate in leadership meetings and strategic planning discussions.
