Qualifications

• Knowledge of healthcare collections and accounts receivable procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily authorization activities and guide staff to ensure efficiency.
• Maintain assigned portfolios at acceptable levels and oversee authorization management functions.
• Assist management at branches on authorization issues.
• Develop and implement plans to ensure authorizations meet objectives.
• Maintain provider manuals, patient information updates, and logs.
• Ensure timely authorizations and adherence to customer service guidelines; stay updated on regulations.
