Job summary

EMERGE seeks licensed health insurance agents in Utah to join a growing remote team supporting individuals and families with healthcare coverage decisions. You will assess client needs, explain plan options, and guide enrollment decisions.

This role emphasizes consultative selling, CRM proficiency, and independent work in a fast-paced remote environment. A health insurance license is required, and carriers appointments with UHC, Humana, or Aetna must be avoided.

Qualifications

• Current, active Health Insurance License.
• Must reside in Utah.
• Must be free of UHC, Humana, and Aetna carrier appointments.
• 1+ years of health insurance sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication, consultative selling, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, goal-oriented remote environment.
• Knowledge of ACA, Medicare, or ancillary health products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients by assessing healthcare coverage needs and recommending appropriate health insurance solutions.
• Educate clients on plan options, premiums, deductibles, provider networks, and coverage details to ensure informed enrollment decisions and a high-quality customer experience.
• Complete insurance applications, maintain accurate client records, and ensure enrollments and policy changes are processed in compliance with state and federal regulations and HIPAA requirements.
• Provide ongoing client support by resolving policy questions, assisting with renewals, addressing coverage concerns, and serving as a trusted resource throughout the policy lifecycle.
