Datavant is hiring an entry-level Release of Information associate for a remote, temporary role. The position focuses on processing medical record requests, safeguarding patient privacy, and ensuring HIPAA compliance in a high-volume environment.

You will use multiple platforms, document patient information, and support customer inquiries via calls and messages. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to use standard office software.
• Attention to detail and ability to protect patient privacy per HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process patient health information requests in accordance with policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of privileged information.
• Maintain knowledge of facility software and workflow.
• Adhere to conduct policies and report issues to the manager.
• Assist with additional duties as needed and handle fluctuating volumes.
• Respond to patient records requests promptly and accurately.
