Lehrer Family Chiropractic is seeking a Remote Health Information Technician to join the team on a part-time basis. This position allows you to work from home while contributing to accurate and secure patient record management.

You will review patient records, update EHRs, ensure HIPAA compliance, and collaborate with providers to support audits and quality assurance. Strong attention to detail and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in health information management or medical records.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and other relevant laws and regulations.

Responsabilités

• Review and analyze patient records for accuracy and completeness.
• Enter and update patient information into electronic health record systems.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to health information management.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of patient records.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely record-keeping.
