Datavant is seeking a Health Information Specialist I to support release of information (ROI) requests in a remote setting. You will process medical record requests, safeguarding patient privacy while ensuring HIPAA compliance and high-quality service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong data entry, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. You will work 8:00 am–4:30 pm EST, Monday–Friday, in a fast-paced production environment with full benefits and training.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to commute between locations as needed.
• Overtime during peak seasons when required.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Professional verbal and written communication in English.
• Detail- and quality-oriented for medical records.
• Strong data entry skills.
• Respond to changing priorities with minimal supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Receive and process ROI requests per policy and HIPAA requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information.
• Document information in multiple platforms with attention to accuracy.
• Adhere to Code of Conduct and facility policies.
• Inform supervisor of issues or fluctuations in workload.
• Assist with additional duties as needed.
• Ensure timely and accurate release of medical records.
