Westat, Inc. is seeking a Principal Research Associate – Healthcare Researcher to lead healthcare data analytics and statistical programming for CMS contracts.

The role involves designing and executing analyses on Medicare/Medicaid and other claims data, and delivering client-ready reports. You will work with a multidisciplinary team, applying quantitative methods, programming in SQL, Python, and/or R, and coordinating project tasks and timelines.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of experience in health services research.
• Experience on multidisciplinary teams.
• CMS or Medicare data experience preferred.
• Strong statistical programming and reporting skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead quantitative research methods for CMS and other clients.
• Independently program and analyze with SQL, Python, and/or R, using Databricks to manage datasets.
• Prepare internal and client reports including technical writing on healthcare data.
• Quality assurance of analytic outputs and code by team members.
• Communicate quantitative results to diverse internal and external audiences.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and documentation.
• Contribute to business development with technical approaches for new opportunities.
