Job summary

Healthcare Staffing Professionals is seeking an Assistant Health Analyst to support data systems and inform program strategies within the Department of Public Health. The role is remote, but candidates must reside in the LA County area, with immediate start and funding through 07/31/2027.

Pay is $42.08 per hour for a 40-hour work week. Benefits include employer-funded healthcare, dental, vision, and life insurance from the start.

Qualifications

• Three years of staff experience analyzing and making recommendations, or one year of responsible administrative or staff experience assisting in research and analysis of resources and program operations.
• A valid California Class C Driver License or ability to use alternative transportation for job-related functions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage projects related to data systems and department initiatives.
• Analyze, develop, and maintain technical documentation and training materials.
• Facilitate meetings and cross-functional team discussions to support implementation and improvement.
• Assist in evaluating data systems, standards, and processes to improve data quality and usability.
• Provide analytical and administrative support for data initiatives, tracking progress and identifying issues.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate activities and support objectives.
