Job summary

VetsEZ is seeking a Data Analyst for a remote opportunity supporting the implementation and operation of a statewide Health Information Exchange (HIE) and the development of a Health Data Utility (HDU).

This role blends dashboard development, population health analysis, and clinical quality measurement to support HIE and HDU reporting. Remote opportunity; candidate must reside within the continental US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data analytics or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare analytics or BI.
• Strong SQL, data visualization, and dashboard development skills.
• Experience validating HEDIS/MIPS or similar clinical quality measures.

Responsibilities

• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations for program, provider, and payer stakeholders.
• Analyze healthcare utilization, patient cohorts, care gaps, and population health trends.
• Translate HEDIS, MIPS, and clinical quality specifications into analytical and reporting logic.
• Build and validate reporting queries, datasets, and measure calculations.
• Investigate data discrepancies and collaborate with engineering and clinical teams on remediation.
• Document metric definitions, analytical methods, assumptions, and explain findings to stakeholders.
• Take on additional tasks to support team objectives and project success.
