Job summary

Advocate Health offers a remote Administrative Internship for graduate students pursuing a Healthcare Administration degree. The internship runs May 31, 2027 to August 6, 2027, with up to 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri, remote and eligible for residents in AL and other states.

Interns will gain exposure to system Administration, operations, and strategy across Advocate Health, with opportunities to work across departments and contribute to projects and program development.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Healthcare Leadership, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Management, Nonprofit Management, or a related field with junior or senior standing.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Administrative Intern will help manage diverse portfolio of healthcare projects and contribute to progress and sponsor needs.
• Becomes part of the work unit team to carry out assigned work within the rotation; identify and use internal/external support resources.
• Administrative intern will help build a broad range of healthcare management skills and work with physicians, staff across Advocate Health, and lead small groups or task forces.
