Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a senior strategy consultant to lead complex strategic initiatives across clinical programs. You will act as an internal consultant, owning projects from concept to actionable recommendations that improve program effectiveness and resource alignment.

You will translate findings into executive-ready business cases, mentor junior staff, and partner with leadership, operations, finance, actuarial, and network teams to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• 5 years of progressive experience in strategic consulting, healthcare analytics, or a similar high-impact role
• 5 years of demonstrated track record leading complex analytical projects translating insights into actionable business strategies that drove measurable outcomes
• 3 years of clinical experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end strategic projects focused on program optimization across clinical areas
• Design and execute data-driven strategic analyses to identify opportunities for efficiency, quality of care, and program performance
• Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations and business cases for senior management
• Act as trusted adviser to cross-functional stakeholders including leadership, clinical operations, network, finance, and actuarial
• Proactively identify strategic gaps or challenges and propose improvements
• Develop robust, quantifiable impact models and monitor effectiveness of initiatives
• Mentor junior analytical staff on problem-solving and frameworks
• Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations distilling data into strategic narratives
• Other duties as assigned
