Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking an Operations Research Analyst/Statistician to perform advanced statistical analyses for government clients. Responsibilities include data handling in SAS/EG, project scoping, and model development within AVHE and Air Force contexts.

The role requires a Masters in a quantitative field (PhD preferred), HIPAA training, and at least ten years of experience in healthcare or military statistics. Remote work with some CONUS travel is available.

Qualifications

• Must be current in HIPAA training and able to access medical data.
• Advanced analytical skills in statistics and study design.
• Expertise in descriptive statistics and SAS EG.
• Minimum 10 years of statistics experience in healthcare or military settings.
• Willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise for statistical analyses related to Air Force outcomes.
• Perform statistical analyses of datasets and create datasets for SAS/EG.
• Plan projects, monitor timelines, and generate progress reports.
• Develop stratification methods using ICD codes and other criteria.
• Develop credible statistical models exploring relationships in AVHE outcomes.
