North is seeking a Director of Threat Detection and Response to lead a highly technical security organization. You will define strategy and build capabilities for Incident Response, Detection Engineering, Threat Hunting, and Cyber Threat Intelligence across the company’s payments infrastructure.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in CS, cybersecurity, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in information security with incident response, detection, and threat hunting.
• Proven leadership of complex security operations and technical teams.
• Strong skills in log analysis, telemetry design, and risk remediation.
• Experience with PCI-DSS and payments industry security practices.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as senior incident commander during major security incidents.
• Direct incident response strategy across endpoint, network, cloud, identity and apps.
• Oversee forensics, root cause analysis, and cross-team remediation.
• Lead detection engineering for high-fidelity detection logic.
• Drive proactive threat hunting based on MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Build Cyber Threat Intelligence program to counter emerging TTPs.
• Develop enterprise logging/data pipelines for visibility and rapid investigations.
• Mentor a high-performing team of incident responders and threat hunters.
• Translate findings into clear narratives for executives and board.
