Job summary

Mencap, a UK charity, seeks a Head of Digital Delivery to lead our Digital, Data & Technology function and shape priorities with senior leaders. You will coach Squad Leads, foster accountability and collaboration, and deliver digital initiatives that create real value for the people we support.

The role is a permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours/week), home-based with occasional travel, requiring strong stakeholder influence and the ability to drive change across a complex organisation.

• Leading, coaching and developing a team of Squad Leads and delivery professionals.
• Building a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture where people can do their best work.
• Providing leadership across multiple digital initiatives and programmes of work.
• Supporting leaders through organisational and operational change.
• Working collaboratively with senior stakeholders to shape priorities and make informed decisions.
• Balancing competing demands while ensuring teams remain focused on achievable outcomes.
• Creating visibility of risks, challenges and dependencies across the digital portfolio.
• Championing continuous improvement, innovation and effective ways of working.
• Ensuring digital solutions align with organisational objectives and deliver real value.
