Job summary

ClassDojo is seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial, and high‑energy leader to oversee and scale all aspects of the Company’s accounting and tax operations and strategy, with an opportunity to own additional related areas such as procurement. In this role, you will build and scale financial systems, processes, and policies to support the financial health and scaling of our business.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience with accounting teams and external audit partners.
• Deep expertise in US GAAP and complex transactions.
• Proven ability to scale finance operations and implement AI-powered workflows.
• Experience in tax, treasury, payroll, and equity administration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly close, audits, and financial reporting.
• Build scalable financial systems, processes, and policies to support growth.
• Lead in-house accounting team and external consultants across GL, AP, revenue accounting, payroll, tax, and treasury.
• Partner with executives across Finance, People, Engineering, Legal, and other teams.
• Support CFO on strategic initiatives including M&A, fundraising, and potential IPO.
