MedPOINT Management is seeking a detail-oriented HDO Credentialing Coordinator to join our team in Sherman Oaks, CA. This role focuses on ensuring provider credentialing meets high standards in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and it is remote within the Pacific Time zone.

Responsibilities include managing end-to-end credentialing, verifying licenses and work history, maintaining records, coordinating with hospitals and health plans, and preparing files for committee review.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in healthcare credentialing or medical staff services.
• Familiarity with NCQA, URAC, or Joint Commission credentialing standards.
• Experience with credentialing software and provider data management systems.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end credentialing and re-credentialing processes for healthcare delivery organization (HDO) providers.
• Verify provider credentials, licenses, certifications, and work history in compliance with NCQA and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider records in credentialing databases and systems.
• Coordinate with hospitals, medical groups, and health plans to facilitate timely credentialing approvals.
• Monitor expiring credentials and proactively initiate renewal processes to ensure continuous compliance.
• Prepare and present credentialing files for Credentialing Committee review.
• Respond to provider and internal team inquiries regarding credentialing status and requirements.
