Job summary

e4health is seeking an HCC Auditor for remote work to perform quality assurance reviews of coders and providers, validating HCC codes per ICD-10-CM guidelines. The role emphasizes accuracy (≥95%) and productive performance, with opportunities to educate and support coders and clients.

Qualified candidates hold AHIMA/AAPC credentials (CRC preferred) and have 4+ years of coding experience including HCC/risk adjustment.

Qualifications

• Must possess an AHIMA/AAPC credential and CRC preferred
• Minimum 4 years coding experience with 2 years HCC experience
• Remote work experience encouraged (30 hr commitment)

Responsibilities

• Performs regular quality assurance reviews for clients
• Demonstrates advanced knowledge of HCC/risk adjustment, coding and documentation requirements
• Audits medical records to ensure accuracy and completeness for HCC/risk adjustment
• Identifies and communicates trends in provider coding and documentation
• Maintains high auditing accuracy and meets productivity standards
• Ensures diagnoses are accurate per ICD-10-CM guidelines and codes to highest specificity
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to security policies while working in a team environment
