Highmark Health is seeking a HCC coder to deliver accurate risk adjustment coding for MA/ACA beneficiaries. The role collaborates with physicians, Quality, Compliance, and leadership to improve documentation and coding accuracy in a remote office-based setting.

Responsibilities include HCC coding across MA/ACA/ESRD projects, audit support, and participation in coding education events. Requires CPC/CRC/CCS/RHIT and 3+ years of HCC coding experience.

Formación

• 3 years HCC coding and/or coding and billing
• 5 years HCC coding and/or coding and billing
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Risk Coder (CRC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), RHIT preferred? (see Licenses)

Responsabilidades

• Performs HCC coding on projects for MA, ACA, and ESRD.
• Assists with Regulatory Audits by performing first coding review and ranking of charts.
• Participates on ad-hoc projects per the direction of Leadership to address department needs.
• Engages in RPM Coding educational meetings and annual coding Summit.
• Other duties as assigned.
