Job summary

Virtix Health is seeking an experienced HCC coding professional for a fully remote role. Candidates should have retrospective HCC coding experience and hold a current AAPC or AHIMA credential, with specific CPT/ICD-10 training to map diagnoses to HCC, RxHCC, and ESRD models.

The role requires reviewing medical records in EMR/billing systems, using encoder software, and collaborating with a results-driven team. Maintain a 95% quality score and adapt to project-based productivity demands.

Qualifications

• Current AAPC or AHIMA credential required.
• Retrospective HCC coding experience and general coding experience required.
• Must be proficient with ICD-10-CM guidelines for accurate code assignment.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and abstract ICD-10-CM codes mapping to HCC, RxHCC, and ESRD models.
• Work with encoder software and coding resources to ensure coding accuracy.
• Maintain a quality score of 95% or higher and meet productivity targets.
