Job summary

Global Impact Group LLC in the United States is seeking Haryanvi Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to support USCIS contracts. You will provide real-time, neutral Haryanvi-English telephonic interpretation for interviews, hearings, and asylum proceedings, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in immigration and legal contexts.

Requirements include native or near-native fluency in Haryanvi and English, 2+ years of interpreting experience, knowledge of interpreter ethics, and strong telephone

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Haryanvi and English (Hindi knowledge is a plus)
• 2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, asylum, government preferred)
• Strong understanding of interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and cultural awareness
• Excellent telephone communication skills; ability to remain accurate under pressure

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time Haryanvi-English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and asylum proceedings
• Interpret accurately, neutrally, and with professionalism in immigration and legal contexts
• Maintain strict confidentiality in compliance with USCIS/DHS interpreter standards
• Handle both scheduled assignments and urgent/surge requests
• Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and QA audits
