Packetlabs is seeking a Penetration Tester - Hardware to lead security assessments of embedded and IoT devices, focusing on silicon, firmware, and board layouts rather than web applications.

The role involves hands-on hardware testing, reverse engineering, and clear client communication to deliver actionable findings that raise security posture. Candidates should have strong electronics fundamentals, experience with debug interfaces, soldering, and a passion for practical, rigorous security work.

• Handshake with hardware-focused security principles and embedded systems.
• Experience reading schematics, datasheets, and identifying hardware-based risks.
• Hands-on testing of embedded devices with practical offensive security mindset.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to clients and engineering teams.

• Plan and execute hardware penetration tests on embedded/IoT devices.
• Identify, access, and exploit on-board debug interfaces (JTAG, SWD, UART).
