Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Guidewire Technical Consultant to deliver configuration, integration, and customization across the Guidewire Insurance Suite and Guidewire Cloud. The role emphasizes hands-on Gosu development and collaboration with analysts to ship reliable features.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of Guidewire experience, strong communication, and proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Five or more years of Guidewire development experience.
• Deep Gosu programming expertise and Guidewire data model.
• Hands-on experience with PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter customization.
• Strong understanding of product model and rule design.
• Experience building Guidewire integrations (messaging, batch, plugin).
• Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud Platform.
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of Guidewire database schema.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver configuration, integration, and customization across the Guidewire Insurance Suite and Guidewire Cloud.
• Engage in Gosu development and integration design to ship reliable insurance-platform features.
• Collaborate with business analysts and SMEs to translate requirements into well-engineered solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in code/design reviews to raise engineering standards.
