The role involves working with business analysts and SMEs to ship reliable insurance-platform features, mentoring junior engineers, and participating in code and design reviews to raise the bar on quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Five or more years of Guidewire development experience.
• Deep expertise in Gosu programming and Guidewire data model.
• Hands‑on experience with PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter customization.
• Strong understanding of product model and rule design.
• Experience building Guidewire integrations (messaging, batch, plugin).
• Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud Platform.
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of Guidewire database schema.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver configuration, integration, and customization across Guidewire InsuranceSuite and Guidewire Cloud.
• Work on Gosu development and integration design.
• Configure product model and guidewire rules; participate in upgrades.
• Collaborate with analysts and SMEs to translate requirements into robust solutions.
• Raise the bar through code reviews, design reviews, and mentorship of junior engineers.
