Job summary

Algolia in the United States is seeking an engineer who loves shipping close to users and measuring impact to help users get the most out of our Growth platform. You will shape onboarding experiences, join forces with product and design, and help build a scalable Growth foundation that serves thousands of apps and teams.

You’ll run experiments and A/B tests to pick the best solutions, contribute to engineering quality and tooling, and own features from discovery through delivery in a bottom-up,

Qualifications

• Experience with event-driven infrastructure in GCP or AWS.
• Experience building production applications with a backend language (Ruby today; exploring Go).
• Comfortable across the stack or eager to grow into full-stack development with TypeScript and React.

Responsibilities

• Building solutions to help users get the most out of the company.
• Running experiments and A/B tests to help choose the best possible solution.
• Collaborating with Product and Design teams to explore opportunities.
• Contributing to the evolution of our Growth platform, ensuring it scales with our customers and internal teams.
• Writing high-quality, well-tested code and participating in code reviews.
• Contributing to improvements in engineering quality, processes, and tooling.
