iMatrix, part of Internet Brands, seeks an Account Development Consultant to build relationships with existing clients and drive upsell opportunities through marketing consultations by phone and video. The role emphasizes upselling, client retention, and collaboration with service delivery teams to ensure timely fulfillment.

Requirements include 1+ year in SaaS and digital marketing sales, strong communication, and proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint.

Qualifications

1+ year in sales closing selling a SaaS product to small businesses (most recent role).
1+ year of sales experience in Digital Marketing or TV/Online Ad sales.
6 months or more in SDR/BDR role calling on small business.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
Ability to multitask and stay highly organized.
Strong organizational and analytical skills; proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Make 50+ outbound calls daily to prospective clients.
Conduct daily marketing consultations via video to drive upsell opportunities.
Identify marketing opportunities and match them with services to meet client needs.
Qualify leads from marketing efforts and set appointments for online demos.
Demonstrate knowledge of digital marketing and manage a client portfolio.
Address client concerns with timely resolutions and hand-offs to relevant teams.
Identify at-risk customers and escalate to retain them.
Ensure customers are proficient with services and direct to training resources.
Handle account and product-related calls and coordinate with Customer Support as needed.
Monitor competitors’ pricing and services.
Meet productivity and sales metrics weekly, monthly, and yearly.
Attend weekly meetings and provide optimization ideas to improve performance and revenue.
