Job summary

Destination Knot is seeking a remote travel coordinator to assist group organizers with travel planning, budgeting, and timelines. You will research destinations, accommodations, transportation, and group options, prepare itineraries, and coordinate bookings with hotels and suppliers.

This independent-contractor role offers flexible scheduling, onboarding, training, and access to industry resources and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Proficiency with computers and online tools.
• Professional, dependable, and customer-focused approach.
• No prior travel industry experience required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Administrative, event planning, hospitality, sales, or client support experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult with group organizers to understand travel needs, budgets, and timelines.
• Research destinations, accommodations, transportation, and group travel options.
• Prepare customized travel proposals and itineraries.
• Coordinate reservations with hotels, resorts, cruise lines, and other travel suppliers.
• Manage rooming lists, payment schedules, and travel documentation.
• Maintain accurate booking records and client communications.
• Provide client support before, during, and after travel.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
