Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas seeks a Group Rating Analyst to execute rating and underwriting for employer groups, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established methodologies. This role supports the Team Lead, Group Rating, in production rating, quality checks, contract facilitation, and reporting.

This position is eligible to work remote, hybrid or onsite per Telecommuting Policy. Applicants must reside in Kansas or Missouri or be willing to relocate as a condition of employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform production rating for self-funded and fully insured employer groups.
• Assist in quality checks for production and pricing.
• Support development and pricing of associations/AHPs while ensuring compliance.
• Train team members on rating policies and systems.
• Process Group Rating Information Tracker (GRIT) options and contracts.
• Prepare and deliver prospect quotes using GRIT.
